Rebecca women Community Group

Rebecca Women community Football club is a community based club whose aim is to preach peace through sporting activities including but not limited to women football.Rebecca began as a self help group whose objective was to help the victims of post election violence that rocked our country Kenya following the disputed elections of 2007.The group engaged in counseling and helping the rape victims to come to terms to reality of life after rape and also tried to seek justice for those women who were raped.
After successful formation of the group,we decided to extend our tentacles to preaching peace by bringing communities together and educate them about the need of learning to coexist as brothers and sisters.We learnt that the violence was caused by tribalism as a result,we decided to bring different communities together through sports.
We also decided to fight drug abuse among the youth and also Female Genital Mutilation among women which compromised the dignity of women.
Our Group is also keen in checking environment by ensuring that we live in a clean friendly environment
